You want to make things better?
Impose a MAXIMUM wage.
When the office drones quit making 10 times or 100 times what the sweatshop workers make - things might improve.
But minimum? ( or it's dressed up cousin - living wage) Count on a whole lotta people being stuck at the bottom.
Maximum wage? Really? You seem to be expecting people to be happy with, 'No matter how hard you work, no matter how efficient you are, no matter how may good ideas you come up with, you are never, ever EVER going to make any more money than you're making right now.'
