Drich is defining a perpetual motion machine as one with an energy source that lasts a really long time, like the sun or the earth's core. Everyone else is using the commonly understood definition. I know I'm being Captain Obvious with this, but at least I'm an officer.
perpetual-motion machine
A machine that could run forever. A perpetual-motion machine would have to produce at least as much energy as was needed for its operation. According to the second law of thermodynamics, such a machine is impossible, and to date none has ever been successfully demonstrated.
You had a long conversation with someone who didn't agree with you? Here's a pat on the head (said endearingly), in hopes that praise will reinforce you to do that more often.
You call people 'sport' or 'cupcake' and you say you mean those as terms of endearment. If you really meant them that way, you'd stop using those terms simply because we don't like it when you do, because that's what someone using them as terms of endearment in a genuine fashion would do. Calling someone something you know they don't like to be called is a way to indicate dominance (I'll call you whatever I like, sport), not affection. You're not just insulting, Drich, you're dishonest about it. It's easier to respect someone who is openly insulting and owns it than someone who is weasely about it (no offense to weasels)
But here's another pat on the head for not throwing 'sport' and 'cupcake' around so freely in this particular thread. Good boy (he said endearingly).
And if you ever decide to turn over a new leaf around here, I'm rooting for you; but it's your own fault if I have to see it to believe it.

That's one of the things that makes you an asshole, along with your seeming impression that you're not being insulting as long as you don't use 'bad words'.
Its not disagreeing that is the problem. I have had very long and drawn out discussion some lasting weeks with out issue.. When issue comes up it is not a disagreement that is the problem. It is I will answer something topically, then maybe get a topical rebuttal, then I will refute that often times with references then out come the personal attacks and insults.

I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
