Of course it makes it moot. If a justification for criminalizing incest is the increased risk of birth abnormalities, then homosexual incest should be considered less of a crime than heterosexual incest. It isn't.

Genetic risk is a completely valid reason to avoid and potentially criminalize incest and you haven't proven otherwise.
That'd be like saying
Safety glasses protect your eyes
But in one particular instance of repairing a machine, your eyes are not at risk
