You're ignoring the problem because you're a racist. Complicit with evil. If you get to the pearly gates and God asks "Why were you okay with children being put in cages and being mistreated?" what are you going to say to him? "I didn't know! Even though I was told by everyone. I ignored it because Trump is my new god." Pretty sure that goes against one of his commandments.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.
