We tried to arrange for one but could not get it. We'd hoped to record the session if an appeal were necessary.
However, a newspaper we invited to attend declined. It turned out afterwards they sent someone anyway, sort of like a papparazi, to ambush the USPS folk afterward. (It seems that though these are public meetings, the USPS prohibits the news media.) Many good statements by people in the village, my wife, and myself appeared in the paper, and the article was very disparaging of the USPS performance.
My wife and I have written to the politicians for taking their time to come to the meeting, as have several others in the village.
