I was at school. In business law class, with my boyfriend (now husband). Both of us had parents who occasionally went to the pentagon. My mother-in-law was supposed to be up there that day. She was delayed only because they heard the news that the twin towers had been hit. Her ride wanted to see what was going on--they ended up not leaving because they heard the pentagon had been hit.
Our school turned all the TV's off for the rest of the day. (A lot of us had parents who worked at the pentagon). But it was still all we talked about. I remember when I first heard it from my 2nd period teacher, I thought a plane hitting the tower was a small airplane. Not a big one.
Our 3rd period teacher worked to get the tv back, so we watched a bit more of it than everyone else.

The whole tone of Church teaching in regard to woman is, to the last degree, contemptuous and degrading. - Elizabeth Cady Stanton
