Lets try to put this in the simplest terms that require as little of ones own volition as possible to understand. The resurrection is not accepted as a historical detail by "the majority of scholars". Not even those guys will stamp that one.
There was no event of a missing body to misconstrue as the ascension of a demi-god into heaven. The resurrection is an explicitly theological detail, it needs no explanation of any event that actually happened. People didn't mistakenly believe it. No guy kinda named hercules ever had to sort of kill a big dog, either.
