Who cares what most christians believe? That's ever changing.
We're speculating about possible explanations for the construction of the myth. That leans on historic detail. The resurrection, no matter how fervently believed by however many christians, today, isn't a historic detail. It doesn't need a missing body to explain as a grand mistake.
People intentionally declared it orthodoxy, due to it's theological importance, based on their beliefs about sympathetic magic's potency. Its explicitly theological. Even if there were a real jesus the man, the resurrection is still myth. Still not something that happened that confused people, or turned them into a conspiracy of liars.
