Based on his known, admitted corruption, I think that - at this point - Trump could beat a box of kittens to death on the South Lawn of the White House in full view of the press and still get re-elected.

I disagree. Like I said, he is a greased pig for sure. But with his constant lies and repeated vile behavior, he is losing support in swing suburbs, and he is hurting farmers and factory workers in the swing states he won last time.
His base certainly will not leave him, but I don't think it is going to be as easy this time for him.
I will say though it has been deeply disturbing to me since he started his run that he has gotten away with everything he has done so far that would have sunk any other president.
I'd also say that Dems should not take anything for granted in any case.
*shrug* Disagree all you like. Unless your economy tanks in a real, meaningful way (meaning unemployment soars and the markets crash), Trump is going to be re-elected. I doubt there's enough time for an economic disaster to happen.
