Many moons ago, my wife left a load of laundry in the washer and went to work. Not being especially fond of the stench of mildew, I ran that batch through the dryer. While she may be a doll, she definitely can't wear doll clothes.
My husband learned years ago that it was safer for him not to wash my work shirts, sweaters, and slacks. T-shirts and jeans and other things aren't a problem. He will fold my stuff if he gets to the dryer first but since I wash most of my shirts inside out he folds them that way. The reason - he's a lot bigger than I am and he doesn't want to stretch out sleeves. It's good to learn your limitations.
