One of my sons bought a smoker big enough to smoke a turkey in. Maybe turkey day main course can be handed over to him!
Do it.
Make him earn his keep.
When I do a proper roast it has the above along with carrots, cauliflower in a cheese sauce, and followed by a pavlova with whippedcream and strawberries.
I don’t do it often but it’s gooooood!
I think that I shall. Though when a leg of lamb gets made around here it's on a rotisserie in the back yard grille. It took us years to get the wife/mother to lay off the ham on holidays. It took the husband/sons ignoring the ham on the table to get the point across. I (and my sons) will not eat ham. >.< Bacon, of course, and spare ribs occasionally. NO ham. I'll get the rotisserie out any time for a leg of lamb. Mm-Mm!
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
