For twenty years my job was to hit the deck running when needed. When I retired and enrolled at Purdue I planned my schedule carefully so that I didn't have a class before ten o'clock.

Thank you, taxpayers.

Bu bu bu, taxes are robbery. The only "Purdue" I've been near is chicken at the super market.

That's "Perdue", not "Purdue".

One semester my earliest class was 2;30 pm.   That only one day a week.  The other days my first class was 8:00pm.

I did 1/2 or 1/4 time by direction of the Veterans' Administration. They paid me for full time but restricted the number of classes I could take. So I audited a bunch then tested out.
