Pence will take merely United States to a very despicable place. Trump will likely leave the United States nonexistent or on the verge of civil war for decades.
So there is a moral responsibility to contribute to avoidance of the worse option.
I never said I'd NOT vote for Biden. But I'm not inspired by him. And if I'm not inspired by him, then I have to wonder how likely he is to win. If "He's not Trump!" is the best thing he's got going for him, then Trump is GOING TO WIN. Don't discount the selfishness of people who'll vote for Trump to lower their own taxes, or because they're happy with the economy. Incumbents have a HUGE advantage. Even if they're pieces of literal shit like Trump. Barring a recession before then (and sadly, one is probably coming, but it'll probably be AFTER the election) Trump's got a GOOD CHANCE at winning. Like I'd say 60% chance. If we start treating this like a cakewalk, we're going to lose.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.
