Call me stubborn, but I prefer more... technical books where you have to reason your way out of them, instead of reading a novel and claim you have study it.
This reminds me of the time during my university years where some person came on campus and claimed that they could read every book in the Science Library in one semester. Given that some of those books required a semester by themselves, I dismissed that statement as incredibly self-serving. Grind out even one book on electromagnetic theory in a week, I'll bow down to you. I have a degree in physics, and have 5 semesters of electromagnetic theory scorched into my brain. Of course, I'm retired now, and that stuff is steadily dropping out of memory, though!
