[Serious] Singing the N-word

I choose not to do or say something that has been pointed out to me as being offensive, if that person who points it out is someone I respect.

I typically feel the same way. None of my black friends or family have told me not to sing rap music. In fact, my white cousin drops n-bombs in the context of black community in front of her black husband. Always shocks the shit out of me, but I remember it's not my culture. I wouldn't at all use that word in a sentence around anyone of color, but I would rap it in a song around anyone.
