Latino is not a race

To people arguing in the Zimmerman thread. Okay peeps seemed really confused by the difference between Latino and Hispanic. And that neither of those terms is a racial category. Latino is anyone descending from Latin America. Hispanic is a Spanish speaking person of Latin descent. You can be Latino but not Hispanic, like myself, my father is Afro-Cuban but I was raised in Ohio and do not speak Spanish. I’m still Latina but not Hispanic. See the difference?
