It's gotten better around here.
I asked atheists to ease up a bit, but the fact remains that theists bring a lot of shit on themselves. And I don't mean merely because they believe in god - because anyone with any opinion or belief could get mocked for holding it, and atheists merely lack a belief in god..they can believe ridiculously silly things as well. The problem with a lot of theists is that they throw their god-belief down and expect us to be impressed with it without giving some sort of justification, then get pissed when we dismiss it just as we might a political opinion or a belief in New Age crystals.
Christianity, just to name the main one, has been around nigh on 2000 years. If a well-read atheist isn't convinced by 2000 years worth of time to come up with a good argument for Jesus, I don't think it's his/her fault.
