The bible has 40 authors and has existed for thousands of years. But your ignoring that. Why would it be a magic book. Have you tried using faith? if it were a magic book that would mean everything happened by chance. Faith never works like a magicians trick.

Why indeed, but I'm repeatedly told that it is, so that's what I call it.

So you're basing ideas about Bible from what other people tell you, just to be clear?

You can't explain why people suddenly needed religion since other animals don't.

Sure. So is it fantasy or fiction? Which? Either way it ain'it real.

Metaphors? still no closer to a real god. Much like the countless thousands of claimed gods. Start again.

If you don't even understand the form of a very simple and down to Earth philosophical writing then of course I don't believe we have a reason to discuss Bible philosophically.
Of course. The very last thing you want is to discuss what the bible says, because you have not read it.

Sure. I have read it and it is flat out immoral and evil. It is written right in front of everyone. You cannot pretend that your magic book does not state what it explicitly states when everyone can fucking read the sorry tome. That would be a lie.

And now you are making fictional claims that I don't want to discuss Bible even if it contradicts everything I wrote here Big Grin
People and most of their culture outside religion is immoral and evil as well, what are you saying?
