[Serious] Trying close to my best to rationalize Christianity
#66
RE: Trying close to my best to rationalize Christianity
There's faith in the sense of trust based on evidence and/or experience (this chair probably won't collapse if I sit on it, the earth will still be rotating around the sun tomorrow, your spouse wouldn't cheat on you) and faith based on 'spiritual apprehension' like faith in Vishnu or the Rapture. When someone says you using 'faith' in the common sense as trust based on evidence and/or experience is the same as their faith, they're trying to pull a semantic switcheroo.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
