What do you admire in a person?

What attributes impress you about others the most, or what are the traits you place most value in among your existing friends? Or perhaps, what is it about your heroes that you most admire?
For me:
1. Trustworthiness - A two way street. I want them to trust me, and I want to know I can trust them. This one is so obvious as to be almost a given. If I don't trust you, I cannot call you my friend. My trust is hard to regain, once lost.
2. Principles - I think I'm a very principled guy. So I like other people who are. They don't necessarily have to share MY principles (though it helps, because I'm always right), but I like people who know their own minds.
3. Discretion and maturity - I don't like drama queens. If you use Facebook for therapy, you're pretty much automatically out. If there's an issue between us and you make it public or cause a scene in public, you've made things ten times worse. There's few problems that can't be resolved discretely with a quiet word in private.
4. A good sense of humour - I like to laugh, and I like to play jokes on people, so I like people who can take and make jokes.
