Then you have to ask yourself two things- how much money they have before entering politics - and how much are they worth now?
The crooked ones are the ones that made the most money by virtue of holding public office.

Your link doesn't tell us which ones increased their wealth dramatically while in office. It's not crooked to use gravitas you earned in office to make money writing books or lecturing or any number of other, perfectly legal activities once you're out of office. There's no rule that says you can't play the cards you've been dealt as long as you don't cheat. It's crooked to gain your money from corruption, in or out of office, and a significant increase in wealth while in office might be a red flag if unaccounted for. Is there a particular president you're accusing?
