I'm not totally convinced it would be a good thing, but I would like to see us as a country give it a try. What catastrophic effects could it possible have?
Really, only a small number of people in the States would honestly need it, so the toughest part would be deciding who to give it to. I mean, are you one of those people who thinks that all homeless folks are just lazy freeloaders?
Wouldn't it be given to everyone in the country, including Trump ie. universally, like in Finland?
