Watching the fourth part of KrimsonRogue's review of Empress Theresa, which may be one of the worst books ever written.

For whatever reason, some of the math issues are intriguing to me:
- Apparently, Theresa's solutions to the rising of the ocean levels is to (I shit you not) send a cubic mile of water into space every three minutes for a year. The spiriting away of 175,200 cubic miles of ocean water, as massive an undertaking as this would be, is, for lack of a better term, a drop in the bucket, because the world's oceans have 321 million cubic miles of water. To put this into perspective, I carry around a water bottle with an advertised capacity I can't remember at the moment. However, it was easy enough to take the actual capacity, which was 867 grams, equivalent to a little over 30.5 oz. That 175,200 cubic miles in the grand scheme of things would be the eqivalent of a bit less than half a millileter, roughly the size of 9 1/2 drops. Somehow, Krimson didn't notice how low this would really be.
- Theresa's husband drinks six Liter mugs of beer at Oktoberfest. This is about three times the capacity of the human stomach. Steve should be puking his guts out even before the alcohol kills him. And, yes, I checked this. 6 Liters of 6% beer (the most common ABV I found for Oktoberfest beer) should be the equivalent to 20 12 oz 5% beer. I consulted a BAC calculator, and, unless he's incredibly overweight, well, Mistah Hartley--- he dead.
- Somehow, half a billion people constitutes most of Asia. A continent that claims the home of both nations with population of over a billion.
- The state of Israel decides to evacuate, eventually to a Star of David-shaped island
, but until it becomes habitable, they have to temporarily stay in Crete. 8.712 million people staying on an island with a population of 633,506. The infrastructure issues would have to be insane.
