From NI to Yugoslavia, without an ounce of self awareness. The conflict between christianity and islam kicked that one off. We had a great time keeping those assholes from murdering each other in their sleep.
Pretty similar really, particularly the bit about a shared ethnicity chunked up by disparate religions.
It's almost as if there's a pattern here where religion becomes increasingly divisive with regard to self determination and political will, until such a time as otherwise civil administrations fail and people with everything in common see no alternative but the extermination of the other.
There's probably a comment about the grand ole us of a buried in there too - crystal ball and all that.
