Op/ed "War on" and "fighting" disease....

We fought malaria when we were digging the Panama Canal.

You cant shoot a disease with a machine gun or tank or bomb. Humans endured it yes, but it was not a fight between humans. Nobody fights a disease anymore one can fight death. One can only manage and delay. Cures also not a matter of war, but of scientific method.

Ya see, there go your limitations again. Hundreds of Panamanians went into the jungles armed to the teeth with



































spray cans filled with oil to kill off the mosquitoes carrying the disease.
