The chemical addiction is slight, the brainwashing and cognitive errors are very large however, and that's where the real smoking addiction demon resides. I found quitting easy and enjoyable. I am not lying or delusional (said no delusional person ever, but still).

I did not read the book, I listened to the audiobook, all in one day - 6.5 hours - and made around 7 sides of A4 notes. Far from being a terrible book it was the most fascinating, optimistic, eye-opening and relevant book I've ever consumed. I think also that taking it in audiobook format appealed to my notions regarding talking cures and therapeutic technique in general.
