I am curious to see what may be the long-term effects. Will people who had moderate cases have diminished lung function? Will getting it once make you less likely to get it again?

It's pretty obvious that the world wasn't prepared for something like this. I think we thought most of the world was advanced enough to not have a plaque sweep the globe that we have no proven treatment or defense for.
