That is sickening. I am sure people had no idea that 1/4 of their money would be lining someones pocket. If he had advertised that 1/4 of the money would be going to him he probably wouldn't have gotten any donations at all. This is basically a scam, he didn't earn that money. He should give all that money to charity and repent. I am appalled.
