Star Wars - does it have a future?

Whatever happens with STAR WARS, I doubt it can sink as low as the Star Trek franchise has with Picard. I made it to episode, er, 5, perhaps, but then my limit was reached and I decided it was SO appalling in virtually all trajectories that it was actually UNWATCHABLE. Never thought I'd say that about the Trek
