You guys don't do evil very well.
Placing a couple ant baits out of reach of the dogs and carefully spraying some ant spray and wiping it back off seems to have controlled the ants while not hurting the dogs.
They were not fire ants...those are evil, nasty creatures. We had one home invasion of them when we lived in SC. We came home from a week at the beach and they had overtaken my son's room. Truly the stuff nightmares are made of. As a toddler my son stepped in a fire ant bed and was bitten so many times that he collapsed and we had to make a run to the ER.
I am on daily ant patrol now...we don't want our ants toasted or raw when it comes to dietary matters for us or for the dogs or the cat.
Ants are not on the menu and I don't see them being on the menu here any time soon. Recipes not required or requested.
