All of that was already assumed.  What if is a great question.  To me, the what if is inconsequential.  Have you considered the ramifications of the comparison to your own beliefs?  Does anything stand out as troubling for you, or an issue that would cause you to reevaluate your notions of god?

if i am the one purposing the senerio does it not stand to reason i have? Again to me God is not locked into eternal magical mystery grand pa.

If God is a programmer who did what the bible describes then so be it.

There's no point in trying to argue any "wouldn't this be a god even if science cant yadda yadda yadda", and science already has a label for "advanced alien species".....advanced alien species.

but again an advanced alien species who filled out or inspired the pages of the bible makes him no less god.

That's what god is if you say so, that's the hypothetical we're engaging in...isn't it?  So...what if that's true?  What does it mean to or for you?

again the bible some what describes this senerio but rather than using digital terms it works more along the lines of how avatar the movie works. we being a spiritual essence rather than digital. but tomato to-mato really.

if this is a sim set to separate God's people from Lucifer, then nothing changes except a plausible/modern understanding of how and why.
