What Lincoln did was propose that the US fund and expedite out-migration for those former slaves who wanted to leave the US. I was pointing the Drich’s contention that Lincoln expatriated ‘tens of thousands’ of freed slaves is the purest nonsense.

And GS is absolutely correct - there’s a reason why the capital of Liberia is Monrovia and not Lincolnville.

Sigh i never said he invented the idea . I said he proposed the idea . You can propose something without being it's originator or propose something that already been thought up . 

And he didn't "propose" an idea that had been a working concern for decades.

He did propose it as a solution in other words he advocated it as a solution to a problem . Again no were did i argue the idea started with him .

1. I'M NOT AGREEING WITH DIRCH . I acknowledge the "Sending " voluntary not forced . Sending doesn't mean forced nor was i ever using the term in the same way Dirch is 

2. When i say proposed i DON'T mean the idea was originally Lincoln's .Only he proposed (advocated an already existing idea ) sending ( facilitating migration ) of black folks elsewhere and he worked hard to help facilitate this
