Honestly, it's not that hard to work out for yourself. What community do you think sees more illicit drugs passing hands for cash? A poor black neighborhood, or a white gated community? How about guns? Where would you expect to find the majority of hot guns? You're probably aware that white teen males get into fights with some regularity, but what do you think the likely outcome of that fight is, and do you imagine that this outcome is equal across racial demographics?
Dave Chappelle has a wonderful routine surrounding the disparity in policing and how it makes itself obvious with his white friend chip™. It works as comedy because there's a difference not only in how police interact with white people as opposed to black people, but also in how white people interact with police. That disparity necessarily gives rise to over-representation in statistics, which reinforces the stereotype of black criminality.
To even begin to maintain otherwise, we would have to contend that something in the "black genes" increases criminality. It's no coincidence and it's not because he was a nut that dylan roof shouted "they're killing us" as he shot up a black church. He'd consumed white supremacist propaganda that stated as much - always part of their argument for an ethnostate. Correction, white nationalist propaganda. The Council of Conservative Citizens. As ever, a distinction that makes no difference.
I'll share a personal anecdote, just for added flavor. I used to deal with my cousins. We got caught and ended up in the back of a cruiser. I got a ride home, in the back of a cruiser (not the first or the last time), they went to detention. They've since returned many times and fwiw, one of them is a straight up violent criminal now. Unrecognizable as a person to me, even though we grew up in the same house. They got popped for shoplifting shortly thereafter. Speeding as criminal endangerment after that. Years in the system, multiple convictions. I have a clean record. Can you guess the difference between myself and my cousins? Criminality, genetics, socio-economic status... perhaps? No...no, and no.
