I love you you know that, but on any public road, or even private road, or highway, speeding is dangerous. I've gotten a few speeding tickets in my life, and that does not include all the other near misses from other drivers on the road.
If private citizens want to legally speed, there are private drag strips they can pay to race with disclosure agreements as to where if they wreck or kill themselves they can sign a waver to where the race track is not liable. Other than that no, don't treat public roads as your personal raceway.
The fact that these morons were not wearing helmets in a state that requires them, and on top of stopping their "test" to see if they could drag race here after kids they did not know on bicycles eventually got them to stop says everything. I only hope these morons don't take it to more public roads. One of these morons is going to leave their kids without a father.
