Pssh. When I commuted to work, 75 MPH in the High Occupancy Vehicle lane was an invitation for getting "help" from behind. Speeding is a victimless crime, right up until the shit hits the fan. I was lucky in '75, driving across the Nevada desert in a built Pontiac Le Mans with serious horse power under the hood, doing 143 MPH (national speed limit=55 MPH at that time) and passing everyone in sight. Yeah, it blowed up real good! Not built quite well enough (not by me, either).
Fortunately nothing except my pride was injured. I ended up building it myself later with better results.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
