I meant you just don’t care about poetry. You seem to think that if you take whatever random sentences appear in your brain and break them up into quatrains that it counts as a ‘poem’. It really doesn’t. For someone who claims to be a poet, you obviously don’t care enough about poetry to even attempt to construct a poem, contenting yourself instead with the textual equivalent of a case of the trots.
And the word is ‘gist’, not ‘jist’. A poet should know that.

I do care about poetry, but I don't care what you think about my writing.

Boru, I only have one life. I have NEVER claimed to be perfect, and never will. But I am also not interested in living like I have a stick up my ass.
I don't care what you think of my poetry. AND FYI in the context of this thread, It was a joke. Thus the "humor" section.
I think that - on some level - you view your poetry in the same way that you view your spelling. You know it sucks, but you aren't willing to make the effort to get better.
And it isn't about being 'perfect'. It's about expressing yourself like an adult.
But that's ok - you be you.
