And as far as fights with other life, Tardigrades have survived all 5 mass extinction events in evolutionary history. I doubt camels, much less humans can do the same.
I didn’t say they’re not animals (they are). I said they’re not a species of animal. ‘Tardigrada’ is a phylum, not a species.
