I don't know if my college housemate believed astrology had any merit in itself, but he took it very seriously. He was short but very good looking, looked like a stereotypical California surfer in miniature. I thought that alone accounted for the startling number of women he brought home after his childhood sweetheart (our other housemate) broke up with him. Then I saw him try to seduce an engaged friend of mine and astrology figured heavily in his approach. She did believe in astrology. My friend never came over again because she wasn't sure she could trust herself to continue to resist him.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
