But how is it possible that the president who is so concerned about people getting sick and cancers from windmills is not concerned about this?

Truth?  At first, Trump made a lot of decent choices; or, at very least, he didn't put up any kind of resistance to other people making the right choices.  But then the corporate interests got involved.  Stores were scared because they had to shut down.  Oil companies were losing money because nobody was driving anywhere.  Even hospitals have been losing money because the elective procedures they financially depend on were all being canceled.  And they appealed to Trump and convinced him that the top priority is opening everything back up regardless of how many people are going to die from this virus.  

So, yay, we have a republican paradise going: Rich people continue to get richer while they can effectively isolate, everyone outside the top 5% is getting laid off, evicted or dying and everyone is treating this like it's all perfectly acceptable.
