Ukraine’s GDP per capita is 1/5 that of Poland, and Polish GDP Per capita ranks 30th in Europe.
World wide, Ukraine’s GDP per capita trails such wealthy nations as Mongolia, Sri Lanka, and Guatemala.
Economically, Ukrainians were far better off under the Soviet Union. Under the USSR, Ukraine was comparatively developed. It undeveloped itself after the fall of USSR. It’s current ideological bent exhibits no hint of desire to understand why.
