I just added it up - I have spent over $500.00 in the last few months on fabric to make masks. Some hasn't arrived yet and there is some I ordered that may be made into throw pillows for oldest granddaughter's new hangout room that she wants to decorate like it's the basement set in That 70's Show.
Along with the purchase of elastic, thread, clips, buttons, bobbins, and other sewing notions this has become quite the expensive hobby. No, I haven't sold any. I have given them all away. My daughter says she found a dozen in her car the other day while looking for one to go with the clothes she was wearing.
If we are ever able to stop wearing masks I hope we can come up with an alternate use. That's a lot of time and money invested.
