Just because Joe Biden is a Catholic does not mean he will run a theocracy. However, given the American religious rights contempt for church-state separation, I wouldn't put it past the judges to rule on religious grounds or in favor of religious causes that undermine secularism.

I would prefer both parties refrain from pulpit politics and making claims in public office as to what God wants.

But you are right, between the left and the right, only one party wants to turn America into a theocracy.
