What if repeated outreaches fail? I don't know the persons involved (obviously), but there is only so much you can do before communication becomes virtually (and practically) impossible. Just let them "compost", they might come 'round when their brains finally hit a threshold when they finally realize they need, after an inevitable reality check, some guidance out the abyss of their delusions. Sadly, thanks to the insular nature of the Internet and sheer convenience of how we've structured our civilization, it's too easy to, even after a reality check, to just go back into their husks. "Doublethink", "compartmentalization" & "robust cognitive dissonance" fail to capture the evil of these ideologies that captures the unfortunate humans that end up in them.
I have a lot of people I have lost through the time I've been online, but also IRL and on 'social' media down the far-right pipeline, and due to my social awkwardness IRL, only very close friends have stuck around - pains me to write. Fucking opportunistic assholes. Heh, like saying 'asshole' twice.
