Try again, fool.
I suggest you take it easy. You're butchering these fallacy terms, really. There is no appeal to authority involved, I am overemphasizing his reasoning skills which couldn't help him when confronting his kids. There is no argument from ignorance either, he's actually trying to prove a positive assertion, that one of his kids actually ate the dinner, a very plausible assertion, and the most reasonable one if he's sure no one broke into his house or something similar.

What's so "ad hoc" about your kid going to the toilet and flushing his damn feces before you get home ? I mean seriously.

Shifting the Burden of Proof, as well as Fallacy fallacy. Got more?
Take a deep breath, pal. And re-read this garbage before sending it. Emptying one's intestines is usually not labeled as "fallacy".

Whether you do or don't see kids eating dinner - is mundane. Seeing, mundane. Dinner. Mundane. Kids, mundane. Seeing or not seeing kids eat dinner........
......mundane.
That's a word we use to refer to the category of things that we are discussing. Get it?
All right. I thought of the word mundane as a synonym of trivial.
