Can't control it. Can't stop it.
Why invent an imaginary friend to calm you about it?
Actually, when you think about it, there is nothing comfortable about an afterlife or a deity watching you, people suffer enough in this life, so to add an eternal life that can take the form of punishment is not something one would invent to feel better.
Think again, smartypants.
But let's, for this instance, assume that your mental masturbation (without ever ejaculating) is true, i.e. hypothetically. Now, what would it take for you to challenge the notion that you DIDN'T exist before you were conceived?
And before you reply; what about the 2 separate entities, the human male sperm and the human female egg that joined in a beautiful Harmony and some 9 months later you appeared on Earth, "destined" to post this shit reply, that I, who was made in a similar fashion, just elsewhere on this iron rock, made my genius hypothetical? Are those egg and sperm you? Think about that, as you flail your hands on the keyboard, without ever ejaculating. I, on the other hand, have no problem accepting the facts of human biological reproduction. Must be icky, right? I think I'll go watch Olga Scheps make love with a piano in the meantime, while you attempt to wash all the ickiness off.

Triviality is something that you should be comfortable with. Your beliefs revolve around the trivial-called-mundane.
How we should live...our life. What is and is not not verboten...in this life. Every second of every day of this mundane life, and it probably isn't the case that all of those seconds are consequential. That all of those decisions are consequential.
Your god draws the line at the deli aisle, for example. That's mundane and trivial. Do you really have an issue with divine triviality, or do you have an issue with people calling divine triviality trivial, as it is?
I don't think I understand exactly what you're saying here. Usually anything related to the divine or the existence of a divine entity should be taken seriously. That some religion or belief in this deity instructs people on how to do various mundane things in life isn't really a defect.
The Grand Nudger, in his usual artistic fashion has succeeded in planting an idea in your head. I hope you're OK with me pointing this out, TGN ... this dude is clueless, you see.
