Oh for fucks sake, if you eat any kind of meat, cow, pig, anything, shut up.

The pet gets put under, they do not feel a thing while under. After they come out, they feel discomfort for a brief time. But that is the same for humans.

My current cat is 13 and happy as hell. He has no memory of being declawed, and he is happy as hell.
