I'm all excited about all the new EV's coming out including hybrids, plug in hybrids, full electric, and then it occurred to me that most people will charge these cars from the grid.
40% of the world's power comes from coal burning power stations. Apart from the fact that our infrastructure will not cope with a mass migration to EV's in the next 5-10 years, isn't it all too little too late?
Another hilarious fact that we live in the 21st century where we've landed probes on Mars and yet our coal power stations still create power using steam!
Aren't some primates in zoos experimenting with steam these days? Oh my, how we've progressed. lol
