Second nutball lawyer suggests that holding trump accountable is the real insurrection, and that this attempt to hold him accountable will disenfranchise millions of americans.  He's vry grrr about it all, and how they're doing unity wrong.  Also threatening a second civil war.

They need to save some of the nutballery for the trial part of the trial. This bit is only supposed to be about whether or not it’s constitutional to try a former president (it is), not whether doing so might have repercussions later on (it will, but not the ones the nutballs are expecting).

And it doesn’t seem like a good legal tactic to threaten an insurrection when your client is on trial for inciting one.
