1. Opinida is reading WAY too much into the Washington Post article. At no point does the newspaper blame systemic racism (the phrase doesn't even appear in the article) for what this woman did, it simply quotes an historian who quite rightly points out that ideas of beauty have been largely set by the White community.
2. No, 'newspapers' are not accusing Sanders of anything remotely like white privilege. It was ONE op-ed in ONE newspaper. An opinion piece is not the same as a journalistic accusation.
