Wrongly.
Do the research.
Here in Michigan - you are less likely to be shot by a LEGAL CCW holder than you are by law enforcement.
You are FAR more likely to be shot by someone who isn' t even legally allowed to own firearms and is carrying ILLEGALLY.
If you look at other states you will probably find the same thing .
The simple truth is - those folks that jump through the hoops to LEGALLY carry a concealed handgun just are not the problem....
Law enforcement, legal or illegal ownership of guns is immaterial. Can you list for me the times when someone was shot by a person who didn't have a gun?
